503错误代码似乎是要从w3.org删除的。但是我如何说服Eclipse停止请求它呢？

从Galileo站点进行更新的正确方法是通过“帮助/安装新软件”或“帮助/更新”。

我也遇到同样的问题，但在Ubuntu Lucid Lynx上，Eclipse版本为3.5.2。您的可能是3.5.1而不是5.3.1？您可以将整个站点镜像到本地服务器，然后为其创建主机文件条目：）
